Watch two divers nearly get eaten by whales

A group of divers off the coast almost became lunch for two humpback whales.

Two of the divers were in the ocean near Avila Beach in southern California shooting underwater footage when the whales broke the surface to feed.

After escaping a biblical fate (read: Jonah), the divers swim frantically for shelter on the boat, as the rest of the group laughs and makes the observation we were all thinking: ”You’re going to have to do more to clean that wetsuit.”

You can watch the entire scene below, though be warned, there are several instances of salty language which comes standard after a near-death brush with giant beasts of the sea.
