Report: Aaron Hernandez focus of grand jury probe for 2012 killings

Prosecutors have begun making the case to a Suffolk County (Mass.) grand jury that former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez should be charged in the July 2012 shooting deaths of two men, the Boston Globe reported Tuesday.
Boston police linked Hernandez to the deaths of Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu while investigating the June 17 killing of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd.
"The case against Hernandez appears to be strengthening," one law enforcement official briefed on the Furtado and Abreu killings told the Globe on condition of anonymity.
Hernandez already has been charged with the murder of Lloyd and is due back in court Wednesday for a probable cause hearing.
